News  /  Tony shows his talent in Uden

Last weekend one of our dressage horses, Tony, was competed at the Dutch practice show in Uden. Tony is a 13 year old KWPN gelding (Othello x Dr. Bulasco) which was shown by Dutch Ferenc Damen.

Ferenc tells: ‘This was the second time we took Tony to Uden and it was his second Prix St. Georges. Although Tony did not compete so much in the past, I can easily ride a clear test because he is so well educated by Serge. We all were super satisfied as he is more and more relaxed. I truly believe in his quality and his special character. Of course we have some things to work on but I enjoy training Tony with the help of Serge a lot.
I love to have Tony as one of my trainings horses and I look forward to the upcoming shows. We will work on perfecting our performance. The judges comment was positive and his advice was not only to perfect the test but to work on more expression as well. We are ready for that part as I feel Tony trusts me in the ring and really works for me. The trot tour is very safe but Tony can go with even more expression. The canter tour went well and the tempi changes were straight and clear. I feel the changes will be bigger in the future. Again I would like to say Tony is a wonderful horse to ride and I am very pleased that I can ride this horse for Anneke and Serge. I hope we can go for nice successes in the sport!’
