Next Wednesday the fourth and last qualifier in the GMB stallion competition will take place in Deurne, The Netherlands. Eight year old Bojengel (by Uptown), owned by Dressage Stable Pais and Stal de Bekelaar, will be present as well. Dutch Stephanie Dorr will show the approved stallion.
Stephanie: 'I compete Bojengel at M (middle) level. In the test I am allowed to ride the exercises in the order I like the best as long as I show the required exercises of this level. My preparations for Wednesday as the same as usual. When the weather is nice Bojengel goes in the field for a couple of hours. I the training the focus is on the looseness in the body. I make a lot of transitions and towards the show the training is more in competition frame and we ride the lines of our test.'
The goal of the GMB stallion competition is to give breeders and others who are interested more insight in the capability of the approved Dutch stallions. The final of this competition will take place in February at the KWPN stallion show in Den Bosch.
